Welcome to 2025 everyone. I don’t know how all of your 2024s were in the non-reading sense, but mine was distinctly mixed. There were some very definite highs – with big exciting moments in the family – but also quite a lot of funerals too. So here’s to the new year being filled with good things and happiness as well as good books to read. So far it’s started with a massive rain storm, so maybe it’s trying to wash the slate clean for a fresh start?!

I like the idea of the rain washing the slate clean although I suspect that it’s just the new year carrying on where the old one finished. I hope that it’s a good year for you with lots of good books and less funerals.
