Could have been much worse, considering there were nights in the back end of July!  I didn’t buy too much compared to what I can do on nights, but I did read a fair bit.  Fingers crossed August doesn’t turn into a book buying-fest!

That shopping spree at Alnwick and some celebratory buying when I got a secondment allied with a bit of series glomming to make a Naughty Month for book buying.  And no non-fiction either – although I am still working my way through Lena Dunham, so it’s not like I’ve read nothing but fiction really…

A day late (sorry!) but here are the February stats – no library books or non fiction this month – but quite a lot of progress really, especially if you consider the nightshift factor.  Talking of nights, I restrained myself and didn’t buy any books in the early hours – but I had already bought some earlier in the month!

Another year, another tweak to the monthly stats post!  This time I’ve integrated my non-fiction count into the list alongside the library books – they were New Year’s Resolutions last year, but I’m going to try and keep them going in 2016 as I think they add to the variety of what I read.

So a nice mixed bag in January in terms of variety of reading and only four “real” books that jumped straight to the top of the to-read pile pretty much as soon as they arrived.

Loads of reading done this month – thank you week of tonsillitis – and I managed to resist the urge to buy books until the post-Christmas ebook sales kicked in.  As far as the New Year’s Resolutions a library books and a non-fiction started – but not finished.

And thus the year comes to an end.  I’ll be doing a more considered look at my reading stats over the last year in a few days – in the meantime, check out my post on my 2015 Obsessions!

Backsliding on everything – as you might expect if you’ve been reading the last few weeks.  Too many books bought, lots of re-reading rather than new reading and as far as the New Year’s Resolutions no library books, although I did read a nonfiction book.
