Series Redux: Three Dahlias

The fifth Dahlia Lively book came out while I was in Ghana the other week and was waiting for me when I got home, so this Friday I want to point you back in the direction of my series post about the Three Dahlias. The blurb for the new book promises Posy and Caro performing in two different plays in the West End when murder occurs, with Posy under suspicion amid tensions between our trio. I’m really looking forward to reading it. And we know there is a sixth book coming – but at the moment that is the last contracted book (per Katy Watson’s newsletter) so that could be it…

  1. I love this series and really enjoyed A Deadly Night at the theatre. I will be sorry if there is only one more to come but I do think sometimes that it’s better for a series to end too soon than keep going on forever.

    1. I agree with the proviso that the author needs to know that it’s the last book when they’re doing it so that they can make sure everything is nicely wrapped up and we don’t end up with questions on any running themes!

      1. Definitely 😀. Sometimes it can feel as if they’re allowing themselves a way back into the series at a future date. I can’t think what series it was but that was certainly the case
