Two states in 9 days should be perfectly doable. Venetia is one of my favourite Heyer novels. She’s a lovely heroine.
I love Venetia too. I do love a practical competent heroine – she might not be worldly, but she knows how to run a house and get what she want. I can never decide who I like most though – it’s between Venetia, Mary Challoner and Sophy I think.
